Target Audience Analysis

Who buys a particular product or uses a specific service—and, above all, why? As a systematic tool for market analysis, target audience analysis provides exactly these answers. It is not a one-time project, but an ongoing process. This is because markets change, and with them, the desires, problems, and purchasing behavior of customers.

Whether B2C or B2B, the method of target audience analysis remains similar, though the focus shifts. While B2C puts end consumers in the spotlight, B2B focuses specifically on decision-makers within companies.

Target audience analysis is also so important because a successful brand strategy is always based on content that addresses users’ actual needs. Today, merely having a rough idea of who your customers are is no longer enough. Without a precise plan for who a brand wants to reach, expensive marketing efforts can quickly come to nothing. A thorough analysis is therefore essential for all aspects of marketing.
