Lena Rathke

As People & Culture Manager, Lena strengthens the internal structures. And thus creates an atmosphere in which focused work, cohesion and smooth processes are possible.

Lena’s area of responsibility is as varied as it is central: from HR issues and office management to travel plans and internal events, she ensures clear structures and functioning processes in the background. She also supports application processes, structures onboarding and assists with further training. This means she is often the first point of contact for all organizational and personnel issues in day-to-day work.

However, Lena’s area of responsibility not only includes structure and organization, but also team cohesion and atmosphere: she always has an open ear for the concerns of her colleagues.

Her path to Schwarz+Matt® led her to train as an insurance and finance clerk and then to work in the HR department of an engineering firm. There she honed her flair for people, processes and organization. Skills that she can now bring to bear in her role as People & Culture Manager.

Away from the daily grind, Lena finds balance in exercise and creativity. Born in Dortmund, she is active in sports and gives fitness classes. She also enjoys going to concerts and loves good food. Always with an eye for detail and a keen sense of what connects people.
