The new TYPY store at Düsseldorf’s Medienhafen may be the first, but many more are to follow. The market launch was therefore the acid test of whether the vision can be expanded: Digital shopping, robot-assisted, contactless and available 24/7.
The Schwarz+Matt team created the UI design for the app with a minimalist, futuristic look. Optimized by a playlist for intuitive use, more than 750 products are clearly presented.
An adaptation of the digital branding for the social media feed was created in close collaboration with the customer and our media designers. The digital campaign for the market launch was rolled out on this basis. Schwarz+Matt created key visuals and slogans to be played out as social ads in the store’s local area.
For the opening, the production of image and video material for social media and the press ensured national attention for the new shopping brand.
The result: just like the innovative store concept, digital communication has proven its scalability for future locations.
