Niklas Schmitz

Niklas is a Brand Strategist in Team Brand and mainly deals with brand development and positioning.

Driven by the desire to understand people and translate their behavior into language, his strengths lie particularly in interpersonal relationships. Taking different perspectives and finding the right questions to get to the core of people and brands fascinates him and suits him.

In 2019, he completed a master’s degree in business psychology with a focus on customer insights and organizational psychology. There he learned a lot about how to formulate evidence-based statements about human behavior, analyze correlations and ultimately define measures.

Before joining Schwarz+Matt®, Niklas initially worked in brand positioning, where he was involved in the strategic development of an employer brand for one of Germany’s largest social organizations. He then worked as a change consultant with a focus on organizational culture and employer brand. Here he provided methodical support for change projects for SMEs and DAX-listed companies.

What Niklas particularly appreciates about working in agencies is the multifaceted project business and the insights into different industries. It requires empathy, active listening and always brings new people together.
