Janno joins our design unit as a motion designer. His focus is on 2D and 3D animations for social media, websites and corporate design applications. His technical hobbyhorse is After Effects, where he appreciates the almost unlimited possibilities that arise when you combine techniques and effects and create something new.
He is a trained media designer and graduated from Münster University of Applied Sciences with a bachelor’s degree in design, specializing in media design. For his bachelor’s thesis, he produced a short animated film about his own media consumption and the question of what actually happens when real boredom barely exists.
Before joining us, he was a motion designer at a design agency in Münster, which was also strongly anchored in branding. There he supported various brands with relaunches, developed motion elements for corporate design and designed visuals for launch events. Janno has also realized animations for large trade fair screens at well-known German trade fairs.
He is passionate about cycling and goes swimming regularly. Design also accompanies him in his private life: he can spend hours watching animations by other motion artists and is also interested in illustration, interiors and architecture.
