Carol Christ

At Schwarz+Matt, Carol combines the heart of a problem-solver with the mind of an organizational whiz. As a Communication Strategist on the Communications Team, she develops communication strategies, confidently manages projects on a day-to-day basis, and ensures that good ideas turn into tangible results. Carol’s strength: She quickly gets a handle on topics and perspectives, listens closely, and understands what truly matters to customers and target audiences.

She laid the professional foundation for this with a master’s degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Münster (WWU). From Saarbrücken to Berlin and Münster to Cologne, she gained diverse experience in strategic brand consulting, the NGO sector, and as a marketing manager for a Cologne-based fashion brand. It is precisely this movement between different worlds that she still enjoys most about her work at the agency.

Originally from the Saarland, Carol now calls Cologne home—and works in a way that reflects the Rhineland mentality she has come to know: uncomplicated, direct, and close to the people she works with.

Carol recharges her energy for her daily agency routine by boxing, working out at the gym, or hanging out with her friends in her Cologne neighborhood. Always by her side: her four-legged friend Toni, who sets the pace as the “Head of Break Walks.”
