Cora Howe is our communication designer in the marketing team. As Art Director, she is responsible for all Schwarz+Matt® designs, works out references, designs our social media content and, above all, does one thing: she takes Schwarz+Matt to the next level.
Design and creativity have always played a major role in Cora’s life. For them, teamwork is essential – it broadens their horizons and leads to better developed projects. Cora has also been involved in children’s and youth work since 2015. So you could say she has a social streak.
In 2018, Cora decided to study design in Münster and completed her Bachelor’s degree in 2022. She started her Master’s immediately afterwards and completed it at the beginning of 2024. Her bachelor’s degree was interdisciplinary: she began in product design and later discovered her passion for communication design and typography. Cora deepened this focus in her Master’s degree.
Cora was a finalist at the Bruni Glass Design Award in Milan. The exchange with students from Milan, Seville, Chicago and Argentina was very enriching for them. Getting to know other cultures and places is inspiring for her, both in human and creative terms.
Our new designer loves the constant change of perspective, immersing herself in the worlds of different target groups and developing customized design solutions. At the same time, she values creative freedom and experimentation – this promotes innovation.
