After training in the healthcare sector, she decided to pursue her passion: design. She started a bachelor’s degree in communication design at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen in 2019. During her studies, she focused on text and typography, editorial design and corporate design.
Before Schwarz+Matt®, her creative journey took her to a German media group in Hamburg as an editorial design intern. There, her designs were so convincing that she was allowed to participate in the creative realization of a published native advertorial.
She also likes to be creative in her free time and enjoys analog photography and abstract painting. She likes to organize cooking evenings with her friends and, beyond her creativity, she often has a wanderlust. You can find Carla on city trips in Germany or abroad.
