Green Hygiene: Schwarz+Matt wins pitch

Schwarz+Matt won a multi-stage competition for the marketing and the distribution of sustainable towel and toilet paper. From now on, Schwarz+Matt develops and markets the new brand “Green Hygiene”.

Huchtemeier Papier GmbH is a family business with a 120-year tradition. Sustainability is one of the central and vivid company values. With Green Hygiene, Huchtemeier now offers sustainable towel and toilet paper made from 100% certified recycled material. Special focus is placed on completely plastic-free packaging. This is intended to meet one of the most important ecological challenges of our time: The elimination of plastic waste from the oceans.

Huchtemeier had invited agencies for this purpose to tender for the development and marketing of Green Hygiene. True to the motto “You need to use the bathroom here”, a visit to the toilet in combination with Green Hygiene products should surprise and provide a sustainable experience. Schwarz+Matt took up this challenge in the pitch and finally convinced with a clear and minimalistic corporate design in combination with a powerful visual brand. In addition, the users of Green Hygiene products will have something to listen to in the future. The central theme is an audio play designed to bring sustainable products in sanitary rooms closer to the consumer.

Based on the results from the pitch, Schwarz+Matt will now support the further development of the brand, products, packaging and marketing. The holistic approach and the sustainable campaign development convinced Huchtemeier of the cooperation.
