Tasks

Do you work in a structured manner, keep an eye on budgets, timings and quality and feel just as confident in working with customers as you do in leading a design team? Do you have several years of agency and management experience, think strategically and want to actively develop the design department?


Then we are looking for you as Team Lead Design (m/f/d), Remote in NRW for the following tasks:


  • Central contact person for existing and new customers: professional communication, advice and long-term support
  • Technical and qualitative responsibility for all design and layout work and ensuring a high standard of design quality
  • Technical leadership of the design team including resource and capacity planning, approvals, coordination of absences and continuous development of the area
  • Close coordination with the internal design team, other specialist departments and management
  • Holistic project and account management using project management tools (e.g. Asana)
  • Planning, management and coordination of projects, taking into account budgets, timings and quality specifications
  • Conducting appointments with new customers and identifying and developing business potential with existing customers
  • Creation, calculation, negotiation and follow-up of offers as well as structured organization and maintenance of leads
  • Strategic and operational consulting for clients in the field of graphic and communication design (analog & digital)
  • Organization, preparation and active participation in pitches, presentations and tenders
  • Responsibility for invoicing and creating reports for customers and your own department
  • Preparation and documentation of work results for references, cases and presentations

Qualification

As Team Lead Design (m/f/d), you will bring your own initiative, several years of agency and management experience as well as a strong understanding of design, processes and customer consulting. Your optimal qualification:


  • Passion for brands, design and visual communication
  • Several years of agency and management experience, ideally in the design or communications environment
  • Successfully completed studies in the field of design, communication, marketing or a comparable qualification
  • Very good knowledge of Asana, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite as well as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • High team orientation, sense of responsibility and a structured, solution-oriented working style
